Using Filters

Filters help you find exactly what’s relevant from thousands of tenders. TenderWolf offers extensive filtering options.

Where to Find Filters

After a search, you’ll see the filter bar on the left side of your screen (desktop) or via the filter button (mobile).

Active filters are displayed as “chips” above the results. Click the X to remove a filter.

Available Filters

Status

Filter by tender status:

StatusMeaning

OpenSubmission possible
Deadline Approaching<7 days until deadline

Publication Date

Filter by when the tender was published:

  • Today
  • Past week
  • Past month
  • Custom period (from/to)

Deadline

Filter by submission date:

  • At least 1 week remaining
  • At least 2 weeks remaining
  • At least 1 month remaining
  • Custom period

Region

Filter by geographic location:

  • Country — Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, EU
  • Region/Province — Flanders, Wallonia, North Holland, etc.
  • Municipality — Specific municipality/municipalities
  • Radius — Within X km of an address

Contract Value

Filter by estimated or stated value:

  • €0 - €50,000
  • €50,000 - €140,000
  • €140,000 - €500,000
  • €500,000 - €1,000,000
  • €1,000,000+
  • Custom range
💡 **Note:** Not all tenders include a value. Use the "Include unknown value" option to see these as well.

Procedure Type

Filter by procurement procedure:

  • Open Procedure — Everyone can submit
  • Restricted Procedure — First selection, then submission
  • Negotiated Procedure with Publication — Negotiation with selected parties
  • Competitive Dialogue with Negotiation
  • Competitive Dialogue
  • Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS)
  • Framework Agreement

Contracting Authority

Filter by type or specific organization:

Type of Authority:

  • Central government
  • Regional government
  • Local government
  • Public institution
  • Utility
  • Other

Specific Organization: Search and select specific contracting authorities.

CPV Codes

Filter by CPV classification:

  1. Type a search term or code
  2. Select relevant codes
  3. Choose whether you want to include subcodes

Filter by publication platform:

  • TED (European)
  • TenderNed (Netherlands)
  • e-Procurement (Belgium)
  • Procurement Calendar
  • Other

Combining Filters

All filters work additively (AND logic): the more filters you apply, the more specific the results.

Example: You’re looking for ICT tenders in Flanders, €100,000+, with a deadline of at least 2 weeks:

  1. Search term: ICT
  2. Filter Region: Flanders
  3. Filter Value: €100,000+
  4. Filter Deadline: At least 2 weeks remaining

Saving Filters

You can save your filter settings as part of a search:

  1. Set your filters
  2. Click on Save Search
  3. Give it a name, e.g., “ICT Flanders >€100k”
  4. Your filters are saved together

Common Filter Combinations

”New Opportunities in My Region”

  • Status: Open
  • Publication Date: Past week
  • Region: [Your region]

“Large Contracts with Time”

  • Value: €500,000+
  • Deadline: At least 1 month remaining

”Quick Wins”

  • Value: €0 - €140,000
  • Type: Open Procedure
  • Deadline: At least 2 weeks remaining

Tips

  1. Start with fewer filters — You can always refine more
  2. Check the number of results — No results? Remove filters
  3. Save working combinations — Save time on repeated use
  4. Reset periodically — Click “Clear all filters” for a fresh start
